An attack on Marriage and the morals of the Church

“Finally Baldisseri claimed that the dogmas of the Church “evolved” and that “there is no point to hold a synod, if you then just repeat what was always said. But indignation among those present broke out at Baldisseri’s final assertion: “Just because a certain understanding 2000 years ago was in place does not mean that it can not be called into question.”

This only confirms that the intention of this Synod is to overthrow the morals of the Church and even the very words of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Sacred Scripture on adultery!  This Synod wishes to undermine and destroy the words of Our Lord:

“Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her that is put away from her husband, commmitteth adultery.”   ~Luke 16:18

This is all about allowing adulterers to receive the Blessed Sacrament, after all.

They’ve already came for Liturgy, Dogma, Doctrine, etc.  Now, they want to come for the morals of the Church.

We are talking about the Infallible (no, something infallible CANNOT be “called into question”) Words of God, the words of this Cardinal’s Master, Jesus Christ, who said that whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery! This Cardinal just wants to rip Sacred Scripture up and throw it in the trash. It’s what he is doing symbolically.  They all already allow Our Lord Himself in the Blessed Sacrament to be thrown around and trampled underfoot so what concern do they have for His words?

Dogma cannot evolve.  In the words of Pope St. Pius X, “Truth never changes.”  This great Pope also said:

“Progress of dogmas is, in reality, corruption of dogmas.  I absolutely reject the heretical doctrine of the evolution of dogma, as passing from one meaning to another, and different from the sense in which the Church originally held it.”

The enemies of the Church wish to corrupt and destroy the Catholic Faith to the point where the Church is just another protestant sect, motivated by the wishes and lusts of its members.

Speaking of men like Cardinal Baldiserri, Pope Pius XI stated:

“Those wretches tainted with the errors of indifferentism and Modernism hold that dogmatic truth is not absolute, but relative: that is, that it must adapt itself to the varying necessities of the times and the varying dispositions of souls, since it is not contained in an unchangeable revelation, but is, by its very nature, meant to accommodate itself to the life of man.

The world is to conform and convert to the Church.  What we see happening is the exact opposite. All of this is the result of the windows of the Church being thrust open, to allow the smoke of satan inside.  It has now come to the point where the smoke of satan is suffocating the people.

“What excuse shall he have, what mercy can be hoped for, who corrupts the adorable and ineffable dogmas of our faith?”   ~St. John Chrysostom

The goal of the Modernists is to leave no part of the Catholic Faith untouched and undefiled. Even the words of our Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ concerning marriage are under attack!

“They lay the ax not to the branches and shoots, but to the very root, that is, to the faith and its deepest fibers. And once having struck at this root of immortality, they proceed to diffuse poison through the whole tree so that there is no part of the Catholic truth which they leave untouched, none that they do not strive to corrupt. Further, none is more skillful, none more astute than they, in the employment of a thousand noxious devices, for they play the double part of rationalist and Catholic, and this so craftily that they easily lead the unwary into error; and as audacity is their chief characteristic, there is no conclusion of any kind from which they shrink or which they do not thrust forward with pertinacity and assurance.”   ~Pope Pius X, Encyclical Letter Pascendi Dominici Gregis, September 8, 1907

Our Lord and His Church are always the same.

“Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to day; and the same for ever.”   ~Hebrews 13:8

“Christ is the teacher and the exemplar of all sanctity, and to His standard must all those conform who wish for eternal life. Nor does Christ know any change as the ages pass, ‘for He is yesterday and today and the same forever.'”  ~Pope Leo XIII

“Truth…cannot change from day to day.”   ~Pope Pius XII

“Nothing of the things appointed ought to be diminished; nothing changed; nothing added; but they must be preserved both as regards expression and meaning.”   ~Pope St. Agatho

“The Holy Spirit was not promised to the successor of Peter that by the revelation of the Holy Spirit they might disclose new doctrine, but that by His help they might guard sacredly the revelation transmitted through the Apostles and the deposit of faith, and might faithfully set it forth.”   ~First Vatican Council

“For the Church of Christ, watchful guardian that she is, and defender of the dogmas deposited with her, never changes anything, never diminishes anything, never adds anything to them; but with all diligence she treats the ancient documents faithfully and wisely; if they really are of ancient origin and if the faith of the Fathers has transmitted them, she strives to investigate and explain them in such a way that the ancient dogmas of heavenly doctrine will be made evident and clear, but will retain their full, integral, and proper nature, and will grow only within their own genus – that is, within the same dogma, in the same sense and the same meaning.”   ~Pope Pius IX, “Ineffabilis Deus”

This Synod is anathama:

“If anyone says that it is possible that at some time, given the advancement of knowledge, a sense may be assigned to the dogmas propounded by the Church which is different from that which the Church has understood and understands: let him be anathema.”   ~First Vatican Council

“I entirely reject the heretical misrepresentation that dogmas evolve and change from one meaning to another different from the one which the Church held previously.”   ~From the Oath Against Modernism

“For the doctrine of the faith which God has revealed is put forward not as some philosophical discovery capable of being perfected by human intelligence, but as a divine deposit committed to the spouse of Christ to be faithfully protected and infallibly promulgated. Hence, too, that meaning of the sacred dogmas is ever to be maintained which has once been declared by Holy Mother Church, and there must never be any abandonment of this sense under the pretext or in the name of a more profound understanding. May understanding, knowledge and wisdom increase as ages and centuries roll along, and greatly and vigorously flourish, in each and all, in the individual and the whole church: but this only in its own proper kind, that is to say, in the same doctrine, the same sense, and the same understanding.”   ~First Vatican Council

“Finally, I declare that I am completely opposed to the error of the modernists who hold that there is nothing divine in sacred tradition; or what is far worse, say that there is, but in a pantheistic sense, with the result that there would remain nothing but this plain simple fact – one to be put on a par with the ordinary facts of history – the fact, namely, that a group of men by their own labor, skill, and talent have continued through subsequent ages a school begun by Christ and his apostles. I firmly hold, then, and shall hold to my dying breath the belief of the Fathers in the charism of truth, which certainly is, was, and always will be in the succession of the episcopacy from the apostles. The purpose of this is, then, not that dogma may be tailored according to what seems better and more suited to the culture of each age; rather, that the absolute and immutable truth preached by the apostles from the beginning may never be believed to be different, may never be understood in any other way.”    ~Pope St. Pius X, Oath Against Modernism

“The customs of God’s people and the institutions of our ancestors are to be considered as laws. And those who throw contempt on the customs of the Church ought to be punished as those who disobey the law of God.”   ~St. Augustine

“The Church of Christ, zealous and cautious guardian of the dogmas deposited with it, never changes any phase of them. It does not diminish them or add to them; it neither trims what seems necessary nor grafts things superfluous; it neither gives up its own or usurps what does not belong to it. But it devotes all its diligence to one aim: to treat tradition faithfully and wisely; to nurse and polish what from old times may have remain unshaped and unfinished; to consolidate and strengthen what already was clear and plain; and to guard what already was confirmed and defined.”   ~St. Vincent of Lerins

This Synod is condemned, according to the Syllabus of Errors:

“Divine revelation is imperfect, and therefore subject to continuous and indefinite progress, which corresponds to the progress of human reason.”   ~Bl. Pope Pius IX – condemned in the Syllabus or Errors

Pope Pius XI was speaking of Modernists, like Cardinal Baldasseri:

“Urge them never to allow themselves to be deceived and led into error by men who have become abominable in their pursuits. These men attempt to destroy faith on the pretext of human progress, subjecting it in an impious manner to reason and changing the meaning of the words of God. Such men do not shrink from the greatest insults to God Himself, who cares for the good and the salvation of men by means of His heavenly religion.”   ~Pope Pius IX

The truth regarding marriage, which has its foundations in Sacred Scripture, cannot be changed to conform to the lustful desires of the world and the worldly people in the Church.  Our Lord set a barrier between the things of the world and the things of God and stated that whoever was a friend of the world is an enemy of God.

This begs the question – Is the Pope and Cardinals of the Church who are forcing this revolution friends of the world and therefore, enemies of God?  It is their actions that show us what they are. Their actions are those of men hellbent on changing every last vestige of the Catholic Faith left in the Church. Their actions are those of men more concerned about pleasing the world and pandering to it than pleasing God by conforming and converting the world to Christ and His Church so that they may have eternal salvation.

The purpose of the Church, the reason for her existence is for the salvation of souls.  Woe to those who are not doing their duty.

It is time to defend the words of Our Lord on marriage and adultery, my fellow Catholics.  Do not fall silent when you should cry out.  Do not be afraid to call the Modernists out on their evil. Someone has to stand up for Christ and prove their love for Him and His Church!

Not one word of Our Lord, even if it was said 2,000 years ago, will pass away, no matter how much this Cardinal wishes to blot His words out.

“Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.”   ~Matthew 24:35
