Holy Mass in the midst of destruction

The Traditional Latin Mass offered in the midst of devastation, destruction and war is symbolical of the current state of the Church.  Today, the Mass must be offered in the midst of the devastation wrought upon the Church, in Her Liturgy, Her Life, Her Soul, Her Doctrine and Dogma and Her most precious possession, God Himself in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Even if the Holy Catholic Church is cast into prison, starved, thrown to the beasts, trampled underfoot, hacked, tortured, crucified, and burned, in a word, follows Her Master in His Passion, She still lives on as the Spotless and Indefectible Bride of Christ that will triumph in the end, a triumph that will be the greatest in Her history.

Remember the words of Cardinal Pacelli:

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a Divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul…I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the true Faith of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.

A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, ‘Where have they taken Him?”

Remain faithful, my fellow Catholics, to the true Faith and the Catholic Mass.
