According to Cardinal Reinhard Marx, I am.
According to these Modernists, Catholic is not only the new heretic, but the new terrorist, as well. To them, anyone and everyone is welcome in the Church except Catholics, those Catholics who practice the one true Faith of the Saints, the only true Catholic that there is. I will address the comments, errors and heresies of this Modernist prelate, hellbent on destroying any last vestige of Catholicism.
“One of Pope Francis’ closest advisors, and the leader of one of the most “liberal” Catholic hierarchies in the world, has denounced “traditional” young people for wanting “to be clear in their positions,” warning that it is a path to “terrorism.””
Yes, according to the Cardinal, Catholics should be feared. We are clear in our positions because what we believe is the truth, always has been the truth and forever will be the truth. If he has a problem, the Cardinal should take it up with Our Lord who said that He is the Truth. That same Lord left the truth with His Church to guard and teach, not to be attacked. I suppose his conscience must be troubling him, for him to see a danger in young traditional Catholics confounding the supposed “wise” of the Church by keeping the Faith that they should have and should be teaching us. Simply amazing.
“He added, “The church says that a gay relationship is not on the same level as a relationship between a man and a woman. That is clear. But when they are faithful, when they are engaged for the poor, when they are working, it is not possible to say, ‘Everything you do, because you are a homosexual, is negative.’””
Sodomite “marriage” is NOT on the same level as true marriage. It is on no level at all because it can never be a marriage. I suggest the Cardinal read the beginning of the Book of Genesis, if he even believes it. Marriage is between one man and one woman. Sodomy is an abomination. It’s another abomination that it’s being justified, praised and exulted in the Church. This is the work of the diabolical and more of the smoke of satan in the Church. No amount of work you do for the poor makes you a faithful Catholic, if you are living in sin against God and disobeying His Commandments. A faithful Catholic is one that keeps the Commandments of God and the teachings of His Church. Works AND Faith. Works alone won’t save you just as Faith alone will not. Charity and love for the poor is the love of neighbor that comes from the love of God. Social justice seems to be the religion of these prelates. The Church of Man, whose religion is the pleasures and lusts of the people so that they are confirmed in their evil, trumps the Church of God, whose religion is the worship of God so as to reach Heaven.
“I have no problem with tradition. But we have also the tendencies that the people want to be clear in their positions. Black and white populism is growing in Europe. And that is the beginning, perhaps, of populism, of terrorism, that’s clear.”
If we are not clear in what the Church believes and teaches, then we are confused. Confusion is from the devil, who causes it. And if the Church is not clear in who She is, then She can be anything or teach anything. She would not the bullwark of the truth, as St. Paul says She is.
“The centre of the message is, ‘Heaven is open. Look, heaven is open. You have free entrance. Come. That is the first sermon of Jesus…Convert yourself and be confident to the Gospel. To the good news. And from this, we are celebrating. That’s the main topic. We are celebrating this in our Eucharists, and in our gatherings.”
Heaven is open to those Catholic who obey the Commandments and do the will of God. We were bought with a price. “Free entrance” into Heaven is the religion of Luther, who taught that we can sin and sin boldly and still be saved in the end. We will be saved if we sincerely repent, seeking God’s forgiveness before we die. Not everyone goes to Heaven. As a matter of facts, the Saints and Our Lord Himself tell us that the greater number of souls are damned. The way is narrow.
As for “celebrating the Eucharist,” indeed that is what the Novus Ordo Missae is, a celebration. It is a celebration of the people, for its liturgy is the pleasure of the people. Our Lord Jesus Christ is cast off to the side or on the ground (by the crumbs of His Body being dropped and trampled underfoot). I, being a “terrorist,” attend the True Mass of the Roman Rite, whose liturgy is the worship of God and Him alone. What is the Mass? It is the unbloody representation of the Sacrifice of Our Lord on Calvary. Nobody was at the foot of the cross celebrating Our Lord’s Crucifixion.
“But the very special point in the New Testament is that Jesus is not saying, ‘When you are good to God, God is good to you.’ No!” Marx said, “God is giving his love to you. Come. Be embraced by the Lord, and then you will live in a different way.”
Is living in a different way defined as living a life of holiness in a state of grace? That is what the “embrace of God” is. God leads men to repentance in His Church so as to reach Heaven.
“He expanded on this theme to America, saying, “When speaking about sexual ethics, perhaps we must not begin with sleeping together, but with love, fidelity and the search for a life-long relationship.””
Love, fidelity and a life-long relationship is to be found in a true Catholic marriage between a man and a women. Nowhere else.
“On the subject of the divorced and civilly remarried Catholics receiving Communion, Marx said, “I am astonished that some can say, ‘Everything is clear’ on this topic. Things are not clear. It is not about church doctrine being determined by modern times.
It is a question of aggiornamento, to say it in a way that the people can understand, and to always adapt our doctrine to the Gospel, to theology, in order to find in a new way the sense of what Jesus said, the meaning of the tradition of the church and of theology and so on. There is a lot to do.”
Here are the clear words of St. Paul:
“Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.” ~1 Cor. 1: 27-29
It is quite clear that receiving Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament in mortal sin is to commit a most grievous sacrilege so these prelates are really advocating sacrilege.
Church doctrine is fixed and does not change because it is the truth. Evolution of doctrine is Modernism. This is anathama.
“Progress of dogmas is, in reality, corruption of dogmas. I absolutely reject the heretical doctrine of the evolution of dogma, as passing from one meaning to another, and different from the sense in which the Church originally held it.” ~Pope St. Pius X
“Those wretches tainted with the errors of indifferentism and Modernism hold that dogmatic truth is not absolute, but relative: that is, that it must adapt itself to the varying necessities of the times and the varying dispositions of souls, since it is not contained in an unchangeable revelation, but is, by its very nature, meant to accommodate itself to the life of man.“ ~Pope Pius XI
“They lay the ax not to the branches and shoots, but to the very root, that is, to the faith and its deepest fibers. And once having struck at this root of immortality, they proceed to diffuse poison through the whole tree so that there is no part of the Catholic truth which they leave untouched, none that they do not strive to corrupt. Further, none is more skillful, none more astute than they, in the employment of a thousand noxious devices, for they play the double part of rationalist and Catholic, and this so craftily that they easily lead the unwary into error; and as audacity is their chief characteristic, there is no conclusion of any kind from which they shrink or which they do not thrust forward with pertinacity and assurance.” ~Pope Pius X
“Christ is the teacher and the exemplar of all sanctity, and to His standard must all those conform who wish for eternal life. Nor does Christ know any change as the ages pass, ‘for He is yesterday and today and the same forever.’” ~Pope Leo XIII
“If anyone says that it is possible that at some time, given the advancement of knowledge, a sense may be assigned to the dogmas propounded by the Church which is different from that which the Church has understood and understands: let him be anathema.” ~First Vatican Council
“I entirely reject the heretical misrepresentation that dogmas evolve and change from one meaning to another different from the one which the Church held previously.” ~From the Oath Against Modernism
“For the doctrine of the faith which God has revealed is put forward not as some philosophical discovery capable of being perfected by human intelligence, but as a divine deposit committed to the spouse of Christ to be faithfully protected and infallibly promulgated. Hence, too, that meaning of the sacred dogmas is ever to be maintained which has once been declared by Holy Mother Church, and there must never be any abandonment of this sense under the pretext or in the name of a more profound understanding. May understanding, knowledge and wisdom increase as ages and centuries roll along, and greatly and vigorously flourish, in each and all, in the individual and the whole church: but this only in its own proper kind, that is to say, in the same doctrine, the same sense, and the same understanding.” ~First Vatican Council
“Urge them never to allow themselves to be deceived and led into error by men who have become abominable in their pursuits. These men attempt to destroy faith on the pretext of human progress, subjecting it in an impious manner to reason and changing the meaning of the words of God. Such men do not shrink from the greatest insults to God Himself, who cares for the good and the salvation of men by means of His heavenly religion.” ~Pope Pius IX
“Some bishops at the synod said, ‘They are living in sin.’ But others said, ‘You cannot say that somebody is in sin every day. That is not possible.’ You see, there are questions we must speak about.” He said it is important the Synod does not have “the spirit of ‘all or nothing.’ It is not a good way.”
Yes, Cardinal Marx, if you had the slightest sense of the Catholic Faith, you would realize that it is very possible for someone to live in sin every day of their life and go to hell because that is what they choose to do. Narrow is the way that leads to life. The easy way is the way to hell and those who are living in adultery are taking that easy way because they worship their own desires. If they desired Heaven, they would live so as to prove that.
“We must find ways to welcome them. We have to use our imagination in asking, ‘Can we do something?’ Perhaps it is not possible in some situations. That is not the question. The focus must be on how to welcome people.”
The focus should be the salvation of souls.
Is there a welcome party at the entrance way to hell? I’m assuming so.
Pray for Cardinal Marx and other prelates like him, that they will convert to Catholicism. This man is not Catholic. Surely, my righteous anger at the insults against God and His Church that came forth from the mouth of this Cardinal is not an act of “terrorism?” We have heard ENOUGH of the rights of MAN. Where are those who will stand up for the rights of God?
