The Apostasy in the Church

In this post, I will give a brief overview of the apostasy in the Church.  Since the beginning of the 20th Century, the Catholic Church has been in the most devastating crisis in her history.  Why the most devastating?  Because, I believe, never before has doctrine, dogma, discipline, Church tradition and the Holy Eucharist, the very foundations of our Holy Religion, been attacked as they are now. Even when we had the worst Popes in history, immoral or thieving Popes, never did they undermine the basics of the Catholic Religion. The teachings and timeless traditions of the Church were protected.  Today, they are all but destroyed by those at the top, in high positions, hellbent on fashioning the Church into a worldly institution devoid of all dogma and discipline, a humanitarian organization whose only aim is to make souls happy in this world, not preparing them for the next, a One World Religion, another Protestant denomination, etc.  One could go on.  None of this is Catholic and all of this is what we have been warned about for so long by Saints and approved apparitions, by Prophecies, etc.

How did all of this come about?  The Catholic Church was hijacked by Modernists and Freemasons before and during Vatican II, with one objective – to destroy everything Catholic.

Most of you who are alive have seen this firsthand; what was always looked upon as Catholic was destroyed, quite literally, in gloriously beautiful churches demolished by the Modernists, altar rails removed, altars destroyed and the long list of abominations against all that was held sacred by generations of our faithful forefathers. Catechisis was emptied of all that was Catholic, all that was of God and was spiritually nourishing only to be replaced by protestantized, feel-good nonsense, probably not even worthy enough for the Baptist church down the street.  The need for the Sacrament of Penance was no longer spoken of, neither was sin and repentance.  The Real Presence was undermined to the point where today over 70% of Catholics no longer believe that it is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.  This came about because a New Mass was thrusted upon the Church by these Modernists wishing to do away with the Holy Sacrifice by replacing it with a meal.  Faith and science was divided, evolution was extolled and the authority of Sacred Scripture undermined and attacked. Catholics completely lost the Faith and left the Church because they saw their religion being changed and “reformed” right in front of their eyes, because they were no longer taught what they must do to save their souls and avoid Hell. We know that truth cannot be changed. The Priesthood was attacked from both within and without. Clergy lost the Faith and what faith they did have was not the supernatural Faith that sustained generations of saints.   Only those with supernatural Faith can teach the True Faith to souls. Gone was the Faith that made saints and comforted sinners.  The Catholic Church was looked upon as just one of many and this gave way to the false ecumenism we see rampant today from the post-Counciliar Popes and Vatican. This false ecumenism is one of dialogue and assuring those in false religions that they are fine just the way they are.  To those who object to this, show me where any of the post-Counciliar Popes have brought forth the notion to false religions that they must convert to the Catholic Church for their eternal salvation.  This is their duty, for one. This is called Evangelization, not the falsely so-called “New Evangelization”, as if we ever needed a “new” anything.  What was not broken did not need to be fixed.  The Old Religion sanctified Catholics and sent missionaries to proselytize which cost them their very lives!  And we dare to not even open our mouths about anything Catholic, lest we be punished by those in power, as is the case in today’s Catholic Church. One could go on forever about the devastation wrought on Catholics these past 50+ years.

Those who hijacked the Church planned this, this diabolical plan to lead souls away from the True Catholic Religion.  They praise and uphold the Second Vatican Council and punish those who don’t do so and dare to call it out for the evil it has wrought upon the Church through its approval of false ecumenism, religious liberty, collegiality, indifferentism, modern thinking, the glorification of man, etc. which has all been condemned by the Church.   In the Church today, the clergy use their God-given authority to promote these false errors, this Modernism and liberal Catholicism.  They celebrate Vatican II as if it was the beginning of the Church, as if it was a great good when in actuality, it ushered in the greatest crisis the Church has ever known.  It did not condemn nor admonish for the good of souls.  It didn’t even condemn Communism.  It did not speak out about any doctrinal aberrations. Instead, it has only caused disunity and division in Catholics who no longer know what to believe. We know that confusion comes from the evil one.  Our Lord Jesus Christ said that by their fruits you will know them.  The fruits of Vatican II have been mass apostasy. The Council opposes the previous teachings of the Church. A church within the Church began and still lives on today, but it will die, as the generation that is upholding it fades away.   A valid question to ask is – what is the remedy for all of these evils afflicting the Church?  Tradition. Hold fast to what was always believed and taught by our forefathers.   The inviolate and integral Catholic Faith must be passed on and protected for future generations of the Church. The revolution must be fought against, for we are the Church Militant.  This revolution in the Church is called the Great Apostasy and here, it was foretold by many a Saint, Pope and Cleric:

“For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.”   ~2 Thessalonians

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a Divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the true Faith of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.

A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, ‘Where have they taken Him?”   ~Pope Pius XII

“I saw many pastors cherishing dangerous ideas against the Church. . . . They built a large, singular, extravagant church which was to embrace all creeds with equal rights: Evangelicals, Catholics, and all denominations, a true communion of the unholy with one shepherd and one flock. There was to be a Pope, a salaried Pope, without possessions. All was made ready, many things finished; but, in place of an altar, were only abomination and desolation. Such was the new church to be, and it was for it that he had set fire to the old one; but God designed otherwise.”  ~From the Life and Revelations of Anne Catherine Emmerich, Vol. 2, pp. 352-353

“Hence, the danger is present almost in the very veins and heart of the Church, whose injury is the more certain from the very fact that their knowledge of her is more intimate. Moreover, they lay the ax not to the branches and shoots, but to the very root, that is, to the faith and its deepest fibers. And once having struck at this root of immortality, they proceed to diffuse poison through the whole tree, so that there is no part of Catholic truth which they leave untouched, none that they do not strive to corrupt.”   ~Pope St. Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis

“…..Now We consider another abundant source of the evils with which the Church is afflicted at present: indifferentism. This perverse opinion is spread on all sides by the fraud of the wicked who claim that it is possible to obtain the eternal salvation of the soul by the profession of any kind of religion, as long as morality is maintained. Surely, in so clear a matter, you will drive this deadly error far from the people committed to your care. With the admonition of the apostle that “there is one God, one faith, one baptism” may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever. They should consider the testimony of Christ Himself that “those who are not with Christ are against Him,”and that they disperse unhappily who do not gather with Him. Therefore “without a doubt, they will perish forever, unless they hold the Catholic faith whole and inviolate.”   ~Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos

“If the Church were not divine, the Council would have buried her.”  ~Cardinal Giuseppe Siri

“Vatican II is the French Revolution in the Church.”  ~Cardinal Joseph Suenens

“In the Third Secret of Fatima it is foretold, among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top.”  ~Cardinal Mario Ciappi

“This time we are going to stay in the Church, and we are going to dismantle the Catholic Church from within.”  ~Hans Kung

“I pray to God that I may die before the end of the council, in that way I can die a Catholic.”   ~Cardinal Ottaviani

“I thank God that I live in a day when the enemy is outside the Church, and I know where he is, and what he is up to. But, I foresee a day when the enemy will be both outside and inside the Church … and, I pray for the poor faithful who will be caught in the crossfire.”  ~Cardinal John Henry Newmann

“During this unhappy period there will be laxity in divine and human precepts. Discipline will suffer. The Holy Canons will be completely disregarded and the clergy will not respect the laws of the Church. The Holy Canons and religious dogmas are clouded by senseless questions and elaborate arguments. As a result, no principle at all, however holy, authentic, ancient, and certain it may be, will not remain free of censure, criticism, false interpretations, modifications and delamination by man.

These are evil times, century full of dangers and calamities. Heresy is everywhere and the followers of heresy are in power almost everywhere. Bishops, prelates and priests say they are doing their duty, that they are vigilant. They seek all excuses but God will permit a great evil against His Church: Heretics and tyrants will come suddenly and unexpectedly, they will enter Rome and lay Rome to waste.”   ~St. Francis of Paola

“Who can fail to see that society is at the present time, more than in any past age, suffering from a terrible and deep-rooted malady which, developing every day and eating into its inmost being, is dragging it to destruction? You understand, Venerable Brethren, what this disease is—apostasy from God… When all this is considered there is good reason to fear lest this great perversity may be as it were a foretaste, and perhaps the beginning of those evils which are reserved for the last days; and that there may be already in the world the ‘Son of Perdition’ of whom the Apostle speaks.”  ~Pope St. Pius X

“Attempting to reconcile our Faith with the modern mentality leads not only to weakening of that Faith, but to its total destruction.”  ~Pope St. Pius X

“The partisans of errors are to be sought not only among the Church’s open enemies; but, what is to be most dreaded and deplored, in her very bosom, and are the more mischievous the less they keep in the open. We allude, Venerable Brethren, to many who belong to the Catholic laity, and what is much more sad, to the ranks of the priesthood itself, thoroughly imbued with the poisonous doctrines taught by the enemies of the Church.”  ~Pope St. Pius X

“These most crafty enemies [the devils] have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on Her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.”   ~Pope Leo XIII

“In the Church there is no law or jurisdiction which can impose on a Christian the diminution of his faith. All the faithful can and should resist what interferes with their faith… If they are faced with an order putting their faith in danger of corruption, there is an overriding duty to disobey… It is because we judge that our faith is endangered by the post-conciliar reforms and tendencies, that we have the duty to disobey and keep Tradition. Let us add this, that the greatest service we can render to the Church and to the successor of Peter is to reject the reformed and liberal church… I am not of that religion, I do not accept that new religion. It is a liberal, modernist religion. Christians are divided… priests no longer know what to do; either they obey blindly what their superiors impose on them, and lose to some degree the faith, or they resist, but with the feeling of separating themselves from the Pope. Two religions confront each other; we are in a dramatic situation, it is impossible to avoid a choice.”   ~Archbishop Lefebvre, 1986, “Open Letter to Confused Catholics”

“We believe that the present hour is a dread phase of the events told by Christ. It seems that darkness is about to fall on the world. Humanity is in the grip of a supreme crisis.”  ~Pope Pius XII

“I have never changed. I have preached and done what the Church has always taught. I have never changed what the Church said in the Council of Trent and at the First Vatican Council. So who has changed? It is the enemy, as Pope St. Pius X said, the enemy who is working within the Church because he wants the Church to be finished with her tradition.”   ~Archbishop Lefebvre, Homily, Venice, April 7, 1980

“So we are [to be] excommunicated by Modernists, by people who have been condemned by previous popes.  So what can that really do?  We are condemned by men who are themselves condemned…”  ~Archbishop Lefebvre, Press conference, Ecône, June 15 1988

“Some say the Council was good and has good, but only the reform is bad. But that is not true! Why? Because when Rome gave the reform, they always say the reforms they do, they do in the name of the Council. In the name of the Council! It is evident that all reform came from the Council, and if the reform is bad, it is impossible that the Council is good and all reforms are bad. Because that is the authentic interpretation of the Council by Rome!”  ~Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre

“This Council gives the same rights to error as to Truth! That is impossible.”   ~Archbishop Lefebvre

“What shall a Catholic do if some portion of the Church detaches itself from communion of the universal Faith? What other choice can he make if some new contagion attempts to poison, no longer a small part of the Church, but the whole Church at once, then his great concern will be to attach himself to antiquity [Tradition] which can no longer be led astray by any lying novelty.”   ~Saint Vincent of Lerins

“If I take the position of the Council, I am betraying my Mother Church.”   ~Archbishop Lefebve

“The nature of the Catholic faith is such that nothing can be added to it, nothing taken away. Either it is held in its entirety or it is rejected totally. This is the Catholic faith which, unless a man believes faithfully and firmly, he cannot be saved.”   ~Pope Benedict XV

“I sincerely hold that the doctrine of faith was handed down to us from the apostles through the orthodox Fathers in exactly the same meaning and always in the same purport. Therefore, I entirely reject the heretical’ misrepresentation that dogmas evolve and change from one meaning to another different from the one which the Church held previously. … I promise that I shall keep all these articles faithfully, entirely, and sincerely, and guard them inviolate, in no way deviating from them in teaching or in any way in word or in writing. Thus I promise, this I swear, so help me God, and these holy Gospels of God which I touch with my hand.”   ~From the Oath Against Modernism

“To convoke a General Council, except when absolutely demanded by necessity, is to tempt God.”   ~Cardinal Manning

One must beg God to put an end to this apostasy and crisis in the Catholic Church, rooted in the synthesis of all heresies, Modernism.  Instead of a supposedly “New Springtime” we have been in “Winter” for well into over half a century.  The True Church has been put to the test by God, to separate the chaff from the wheat, from those who are friends of God and friends of the world. The only crime of true Catholics is remaining faithful to what has always been believed by the Church, the truth of which cannot be changed, altered or falsely reformed.  One time, the world woke up to find itself Arian, but now the world woke up to find itself Modernist and apostate. The Great Apostasy will end and the Church will be restored when the world returns to the True Church of Christ and when Catholics realize the evil of the errors that they have been entrenched in.  This will be the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Woman who will save the world.
