Our Lady of Fatima

“He hath set his tabernacle in the sun. All the glory of the king’s daughter is within in golden borders.” ~Psalms 18:6, 44:14

“And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve star.”  ~Revelations 12:1

The Mother of God appeared at Fatima in 1917, with a grave warning for mankind, that they must repent from sin.  She exhorted us to pray the Rosary everyday to obtain peace. She promised world peace if the Pope in union with the Bishops of the world consecrated Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.  Nearly a century later, She has not been obeyed, even though the answer to the world’s problems has been given to us.  Our Lady of Fatima seems to be completely ignored by today’s hierarchy.  Why?  Because Our Lady’s message is not one of dialogue and niceness.  Rather, it’s a warning that souls go to hell, that we must repent, that we must obey, etc.

On this Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, it would be wise to study the apparitions in more depth. Here are two sites where you can find the whole story of Fatima and more, Fr. Gruner’s “The Fatima Center” and another excellent site, the “Age of Mary”:

And today, let us remember to pray for the repose of our beloved Fatima Priest, Fr. Nicholas Gruner. May the Lord reward him for his unwavering love and fidelity to Our Lady of Fatima and Her message.

“Pray the Rosary everyday to obtain peace for the world.”  ~Our Lady of Fatima

“Pray and make many sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray and make sacrifices for them.”  ~Our Lady of Fatima

“More souls go to hell for sins of the flesh than for any other reason.”  ~Our Lady of Fatima

“God wishes to establish in the world the devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved.  If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.”  ~Our Lady of Fatima

“When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father.  To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”   ~Our Lady of Fatima

“See, My daughter, My heart surrounded by thorns which ungrateful men pierce at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude… Say to all those who:

  • for five months, on the first Saturday, confess,
  • receive Holy Communion,
  • recite the Rosary
  • and keep Me company for 15 minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, in a spirit of reparation,

I promise to assist them at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for the salvation of their souls.”   ~Our Lady of Fatima

Prayers taught by the Angel of Portugal at Fatima:

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee.

Most Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit- I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.

Prayers taught by Our Lady at Fatima:

Oh my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy.

“In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”  ~Our Lady of Fatima

A Blessed Feast of Our Lady of Fatima to all my readers!

I’m re-blogging last year’s post on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, commemorating her first appearance at Fatima on May 13, 1917. Today is the 99th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions. Let us remember to keep the whole message of Fatima and pray that the Consecration of Russia happens soon!
