Christ vs. Protestantism

This is what the Pope wishes to celebrate, apostasy from Christ and His Church.  What is there possibly to celebrate in the loss of souls from the True Church?  What is there to celebrate in the capital sin of pride, for that is what Protestantism is, for it is a refusal to accept what Our Lord has established for man’s salvation?

“Jesus Christ says: ‘Hear the Church’ (Cf. Mt. 18:17). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘do not hear the Church; protest against her with all your might.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘If any one will not hear the Church, look up him as a heathen and a publican’ (Mt. 18:17). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘if any one does not hear the Church, look upon him as an Apostle, as an ambassador of God.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘The gates of hell shall not prevail against my Church’ (Mt. 16:18). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘it is false; the gates of hell have prevailed against the Church for a thousand years and more.’ Jesus Christ has declared St. Peter, and every successor to St. Peter – the Pope – to be his Vicar on earth (Mt. 16:18, Jn. 21:15-17). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘the pope is the Antichrist.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘My yoke is sweet, and my burden is light’ (Mt. 11:30). ‘No,’ said Luther and Calvin; ‘it is impossible to keep the commandments.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ (Mt. 19:17) ‘No,’ said Luther and Calvin, ‘faith alone, without good works, is sufficient to enter life everlasting.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘Unless you do penance, you shall all likewise perish’ (Lk. 13:3). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘fasting and other works of penance are not necessary in satisfaction for sin.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘This is my body’ (Mt. 26:26, Mk. 14:22, Lk. 22:19, Jn. 6:55). ‘No,’ said Calvin, ‘this is only the figure of Christ’s body; it will become his body as soon as you receive it.’ Jesus Christ says: ‘I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, and shall marry another, committeth adultery, and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery’ (Mt. 19:9). ‘No,’ says Protestantism to a married man, ‘you may put away your wife, get a divorce, and marry another.’ Jesus Christ says to every man: ‘Thou shalt not steal’ (Mt. 19:18). ‘No,’ said Luther to secular princes, ‘I give you the right to appropriate to yourselves the property of the Roman Catholic Church.’ The Holy Ghost says in Holy Scripture: ‘Man knoweth not whether he be worthy of love or hatred’ (Eccl. 9:1). ‘Who can say, My heart is clean, I am pure from sin?’ (Prov. 20:9); and, ‘Work out your salvation with fear and trembling’ (Philip. 2:12). ‘No,’ said Luther and Calvin, ‘but whosoever believes in Jesus Christ is in the state of grace.’ St. Paul says: ‘If I should have faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing’ (1 Cor. 13:2). ‘No,’ said Luther and Calvin, ‘faith alone is sufficient to save us.’ St. Peter says that in the Epistles of St. Paul there are many things ‘hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as also the other Scriptures, to their own perdition’ (2 Pt. 3:16). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘the Scriptures are very plain and easy to understand.’ St. James says: ‘Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the Church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil, in the name of the Lord’ (Jms. 5:14). ‘No,’ says Protestantism, ‘that is a vain and useless ceremony.’ Being thus impious enough to make liars of Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and the Apostles, need we wonder if they continually slander Catholics, telling and believing worse absurdities about them than the heathens did?”   ~Fr. Michael Muller

Religious Indifferentism condemned by Christ and the Church

All religions do not lead to God. God founded only One Church, that leads to His Father, the One True God. The gods of the pagans are devils, as St. Paul says.  Peace and justice is not to be found through “dialogue” but through the saving truth of Jesus Christ and His Church.  You cannot have peace without these two.  You cannot have peace without submitting to the Kingship of Jesus Christ. True peace is to do the will of God, obey His Commandments and practice the virtues.  Without the Church, one cannot have true peace. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all of these things will be added unto you. It’s not “Seek first earthly peace and justice and the Kingdom of God is guaranteed to you.”

Remember the words of the Son of God:

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  ~John 14:6

:And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned.”   ~Mark 16:15-16

“Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.”  ~Matthew 7:21

“If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.”  ~John 15:22

“And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  ~Matthew 16:18

Read what the Popes say on Religious Indifferentism:

“Also perverse is the shocking theory that it makes no difference to which religion one belongs, a theory which is greatly at variance even with reason. By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, truth and error, honorable and vile action. They pretend that men can gain eternal salvation by the practice of any religion, as if there could ever be any sharing between justice and iniquity, any collaboration between light and darkness, or any agreement between Christ and Belial.”   ~Bl. Pope Pius IX, “Qui Pluribus”, 1846 A.D.

“Again, as all who offer themselves are received whatever may be their form of religion, they thereby teach the great error of this age – that a regard for religion should be held as an indifferent matter, and that all religions are alike. This manner of reasoning is calculated to bring about the ruin of all forms of religion, and especially of the Catholic religion, which, as it is the only one that is true, cannot, without great injustice, be regarded as merely equal to other religions.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Humanum Genus”, 1884 A.D

“To hold, therefore, that there is no difference in matters of religion between forms that are unlike each other, and even contrary to each other, most clearly leads in the end to the rejection of all religion in both theory and practice. And this is the same thing as atheism, however it may differ from it in name. Men who really believe in the existence of God must, in order to be consistent with themselves and to avoid absurd conclusions, understand that differing modes of divine worship involving dissimilarity and conflict even on most important points cannot all be equally probable, equally good, and equally acceptable to God.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Immortale Dei”

Prophetic words of Pope Pius X, truth indeed:

But stranger still, alarming and saddening at the same time, are the audacity and frivolity of men who call themselves Catholics and dream of re-shaping society under such conditions, and of establishing on earth, over and beyond the pale of the Catholic Church, ‘the reign of love and justice’ with workers coming from everywhere, of all religions and of no religion, with or without beliefs, so long as they forego what might divide them – their religious and philosophical convictions; and so long as they share what unites them – a ‘generous idealism and moral forces, drawn from whence they can’. When we consider the forces, knowledge, and supernatural virtues which were necessary to establish the Christian City, and the sufferings of millions of martyrs, and the light given by the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and the self-sacrifice of all the heroes of charity, and a powerful hierarchy ordained in heaven, and the streams of Divine Grace – the whole having been built up, bound together, and impregnated by the life and spirit of Jesus Christ, the Wisdom of God, the Word made Man – when we think, I say, of all this, it is frightening to behold new apostles eagerly attempting to do better by a common interchange of vague idealism and civic virtues. What are they going to produce? What is to come out of this collaboration? A mere verbal and chimerical construction in which we see, glowing in a jumble, and in seductive confusion, the words Liberty, Justice, Fraternity, Love, Equality, and human exultation, all resting upon an ill-understood human dignity. It will be a tumultuous agitation, sterile for the end proposed, but which will benefit the less Utopian exploiters of the people.” ~Pope St. Pius X,  “Notre Charge Apostolique”, 1910 A.D.

False Ecumenism

Sri Lankan Hindu priest Kurakkal Somasundaram presents a shawl to Pope Francis during the inter-religious meeting (PA)

Once again, we see Pope Francis following in the footsteps of his post-Counciliar predecessors in pandering to false religions and confirming them in their errors.

http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/news/2015/01/13/pope-francis-speech-to-inter-religious-meeting-in-sri-lanka/

There is no peace in this world because this world is at war with God.  Not any number of these false ecumenical meetings is going to bring peace to the world.  Without Our Lord Jesus Christ and the One True Religion, there can be no peace!

Harken back to 1917 when Our Lady of Fatima allowed the three children to see hell and said:

“You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. … I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.

Almost 100 years later, her requests are still not heeded nor obeyed, but simply ignored by Churchmen desperately calling for peace when the solution is right in front of them!  This begs the question – why? Why is it that the Pope and Bishops refuse to make a simple Consecration prayer of Russia to the Mother of God?  Truly, the devil knows that once they do it, it will be his downfall.

What are the fruits of this false ecumenism? Peace?  No.  By their fruits, you will know them.  The fruits have only been religious indifferentism, which is the belief that it does no matter which religion one belongs to because you can be saved through all of them.  This, by the way, is a condemned heresy.

It is the Pope’s duty to preach, teach and convert souls to the Holy Catholic Faith, not leave them in error, in their false religions.  As the Vicar of Jesus Christ and the visible Head of His Church, it is the Pope’s duty to proclaim the superiority of the Church, that the Catholic Church is the true Church without which there is no salvation.  Our Lord Jesus Christ told his first Bishops, “Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.” (Matt. 28:19-20)  It is the Pope’s duty to teach souls lost in error everything that Our Lord commanded, which the Church faithfully guards and upholds in Her Magisterium.

Here we see the Pope amongst the other religions, as just one other religion when he is really the visible Head of the only true Religion!  It is truly frightening to see the Pope reduce the Church to nothing more than one religion amongst many.  Need I remind everyone of the Assisi meetings?

Harken to what St. Paul said about the gods of the pagans:

“But the things which the heathens sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God. And I would not that you should be made partakers with devils. You cannot drink the chalice of the Lord, and the chalice of devils: you cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord, and of the table of devils.”  ~1 Cor. 10: 20:21

Either the Pope is for Christ or he is against Christ.  If he is for Christ, why does he not do his God-given duty of evangelizing these poor lost souls?  Instead, he confirms them in their falsehoods.  The Pope will be judged on whether or not he faithfully handed down and transmitted the true Catholic Faith!  He has the souls of billions in his care.  It is an act of love to tell people that their false religion will not save them.  And it will not.  The Church has always and forevermore will teach this, even if this is undermined by the Pope himself, as it has been with this false ecumenism perpetrated by the post-Counciliar Popes.

Here we can see a clear condemnation from St. Paul of what the post-Counciliar Popes have been doing, yoking the Holy Church of Christ with the false religions and false gods who are devils:

“Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God saith: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore, Go out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: And I will receive you; and I will be a Father to you; and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”  ~2 Cor. 6: 14-18

What is justice and light? The Holy Catholic Church.  What is injustice and darkness? The false religions and the gods of said religions. Unbelievers are those who adhere to a false religion, which comes from Satan, the prince of darkness.  There can be no misunderstanding.  Sacred Scripture condemns participation and fellowship with false religions.  What the Pope is doing has been condemned, not only by the Church, but by the infallible Word of God, as well!

There is only one Church that was founded by God, for the salvation of men.  The actions of the Pope lead to a loss of souls because people are left in their error, thinking that it will get them to heaven.  This is religious indifferentism. Such is the sorry state of the Church today.

The truth is available for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.  What the Church has always taught cannot and will not change.

“And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.”  ~Matthew 28:17

“There is but one way in which the unity of Christians may be fostered, and that by furthering the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it.”  ~Pope Pius XI, “Mortalium Animos”

“For if they have doctrines opposed to ours, it is not fitting to be mixed up with them for this cause alone… what do you say? ‘There faith is the same; these men are orthodox?’ why, then, are they not with us?”   ~St. John Chrysostom

“No one shall pray in common with heretics and schismatics.”   ~Council of Laodicea

“I will not pray with you, nor shall you pray with me; neither will I  say ‘Amen’ to your prayers, nor shall you to mine.”   ~St. Margaret Clitherow

“Make no mistake, my brethren, they shall suffer everlasting punishment who endeavor to corrupt the Church of Christ. Whosoever sets at nought His doctrine shall go into hell, and so shall everyone who listens to him”   ~St. Ignatisus of Antioch.

“Give thanks to God that He has made you a child of His Church which is always animated and governed by His Divine Spirit who was sent into the world on the day of Pentecost. Hear and follow the sovereign Pontiff, who teaches infallibly through the Holy Ghost and the Church, which is the pillar and ground of truth. Hold fast to her doctrines, maintain her cause, defend her rights. Live always as becomes a child of God and a member of the true Church of God, so that after this life, you may receive Heaven as your inheritance, Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost! Amen.”  ~Pope Pius X

jc.anthony.interior07c“Know them by their fruits and avoid them. Every familiarity should be avoided, not only with those impious libertines who openly promote the character of the [Masonic] sect, but also with those who hide under the mask of universal tolerance, respect for all religions, and the craving to reconcile the maxims of the Gospel with those of the revolution. These men seek to reconcile Christ and Belial, the Church of God and the state without God.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Custodi Di Quella Fede”

“You who are the salt of the earth, guardians and shepherds of the Lord’s flock, whose business it is to fight the battles of the Lord, arise and gird on your sword, which is the word of God, and expel this foul contagion from your lands. How long are we to ignore the common insult to faith and Church?”   ~Pope Pius VI, “Inscrutabile”

“Let, therefore, the separated children draw nigh to the Apostolic See, set up in the City which Peter and Paul, the Princes of the Apostles, consecrated by their blood; to that See, We repeat, which is ‘the root and womb whence the Church of God springs,’ not with the intention and the hope that ‘the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth’ will cast aside the integrity of the faith and tolerate their errors, but, on the contrary, that they themselves submit to its teaching and government.”   ~Pope Pius XI, “Mortalium Animos”

This is the truth on true ecumenism:

“Therefore the whole and entire Catholic doctrine is to be presented and explained: by no means is it permitted to pass over in silence or to veil in ambiguous terms the Catholic truth regarding the nature and way of justification, the constitution of the Church, the primacy of jurisdiction of the Roman Pontiff, and the only true union by the return of the dissidents to the one true Church of Christ. It should be made clear to them that, in returning to the Church, they will lose nothing of that good which by the grace of God has hitherto been implanted in them, but that it will rather be supplemented and completed by their return. However, one should not speak of this in such a way that they will imagine that in returning to the Church they are bringing to it something substantial which it has hitherto lacked. It will be necessary to say these things clearly and openly, first because it is the truth that they themselves are seeking, and moreover because outside the truth no true union can ever be attained.”   ~Instruction Of The Holy Office, On The Ecumenical Movement, 1949 A.D.

“Liberalism in religion is the doctrine that there is no positive truth in religion, but that one creed is as good as another, and this is the teaching which is gaining substance and force daily. It is inconsistent with any recognition of any religion, as true. It teaches that all are to be tolerated, for all are matters of opinion.”   ~Cardinal Newman

It is a grave offence not to work for the extermination of heresy when this monstrous infection requires action.”   ~Council of Vienne

clip_image001.jpg“Christ…is afflicted beyond measure by the diverse heresies multiplying around Him.”   ~St. Bede the Venerable

“If it be necessary – and it is everyone’s duty – to fight error and repel vice, the soul of the priest must be ever open to compassion. Error must be fought with all our might, but the brother who errs must be loved intensely and brought to salvation. How much good have the saints not done, how many admirable deeds have they not performed by their kindness even in circumstances and in environments penetrated by lies and degraded by vice? Of a truth, he who to please men would gloss over their evil inclinations or be indulgent about their incorrect ways of thinking or acting, thereby prejudicing Christian teaching and integrity of morals, would be betraying his ministry.”   ~Pope Pius XII, “Menti Nostrae”

“If the fear of some disturbance is stronger than our zeal for God’s glory and prevents us from speaking the truth, how shall we dare in the presence of the Christian people to celebrate the holy martyrs, whose glory lies in the very fact that they carried out in their lives the words: ‘Even unto death fight for justice’?”   ~St. Cyril of Alexandria

“The first condition of salvation is to maintain the rule of the true faith.”   ~Fourth Council of Constantinople

“All who wish to reach salvation outside the Church are mistaken as to the way and are engaged in a futile effort.”   ~Pope Leo XIII

“Ensure that the faithful are deeply and thoroughly convinced of the truth of the doctrine that the Catholic faith is necessary for attaining salvation.”   ~Bl. Pope Pius IX, “Nostis et Nobiscum”

“Such attempts can nowise be approved by Catholics, founded as they are on that false opinion which considers all religions to be more or less good and praiseworthy, since they all in different ways manifest and signify that sense which is inborn in us all, and by which we are led to God and to the obedient acknowledgment of His rule. Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting the idea of true religion they reject it, and little by little, turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it clearly follows that one who supports those who hold these theories and attempt to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely revealed religion.”  ~Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos

Finally, I say the truth because it is my duty as a member of the Church Militant to fight error. Hear what Pope Leo XIII says:

“We are under an obligation to show forth our faith and uproot errors – “Amid such reckless and widespread folly of opinion, it is, as We have said, the office of the Church to undertake the defense of truth and uproot errors from the mind, and this charge has to be at all times sacredly observed by her, seeing that the honor of God and the salvation of men are confided to her keeping. But, when necessity compels, not those only who are invested with power of rule are bound to safeguard the integrity of faith, but, as St. Thomas maintains: ‘Each one is under obligation to show forth his faith, either to instruct and encourage others of the faithful, or to repel the attacks of unbelievers.’ To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamors are raised against truth, is the part of a man either devoid of character or who entertains doubt as to the truth of what he professes to believe. In both cases such mode of behaving is base and is insulting to God, and both are incompatible with the salvation of mankind. This kind of conduct is profitable only to the enemies of the faith, for nothing emboldens the wicked so greatly as the lack of courage on the part of the good. Moreover, want of vigor on the part of Christians is so much the more blameworthy, as not seldom little would be needed on their part to bring to naught false charges and refute erroneous opinions, and by always exerting themselves more strenuously they might reckon upon being successful. After all, no one can be prevented from putting forth that strength of soul which is the characteristic of true Christians, and very frequently by such display of courage our enemies lose heart and their designs are thwarted.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Sapientiae Christianae

9142301229_d19bd64be0_k-1024x682“Christians are, moreover, born for combat, whereof the greater the vehemence, the more assured,God aiding, the triumph: ‘Have confidence; I have overcome the world.’ Nor is there any ground for alleging that Jesus Christ, the Guardian and Champion of the Church, needs not in any manner the help of men. Power certainly is not wanting to Him, but in His loving kindness He would assign to us a share in obtaining and applying the fruits of salvation procured through His grace. The chief elements of this duty consist in professing openly and unflinchingly the Catholic doctrine, and in propagating it to the utmost of our power. For, as is often said, with the greatest truth, there is nothing so hurtful to Christian wisdom as that it should not be known, since it possesses, when loyally received, inherent power to drive away error. So soon as Catholic truth is apprehended by a simple and unprejudiced soul, reason yields assent.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Sapientiae Christianae”

“Some there are, indeed, who maintain that it is not opportune boldly to attack evil-doing in its might and when in the ascendant, lest, as they say, opposition should exasperate minds already hostile. These make it a matter of guesswork as to whether they are for the Church or against her, since on the one hand they give themselves out as professing the Catholic faith, and yet wish that the Church should allow certain opinions, at variance with her teaching, to be spread abroad with impunity. They moan over the loss of faith and the perversion of morals, yet trouble themselves not to bring any remedy; nay, not seldom, even add to the intensity of the mischief through too much forbearance or harmful dissembling.”   ~Pope Leo XIII, “Sapientiae Christianae”

There will only be peace under the Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ, when Christ is recognized as King over society and all peoples and when His Church is the only true Religion. There will be peace when the Pope and Bishops obey the Mother of God by doing a simple consecration of Russia to Her.

What should be a true Catholic’s response to this false ecumenism?  Well, a true Catholic must pray for the Pope, that he will once again recognize and proclaim before the world the superiority of the Catholic Church and it’s necessity for their salvation.  But, one must not forget to be justly outraged at offenses committed against Our Lord and His Church, even if they do come from the Pope.

Love live the Holy Catholic Church, the Bride of Christ, the only True Religion!  May She soon be loved and acknowledged by the whole of mankind as the Ark of Salvation!
